Frequently Asked Questions
Can you help me start up my hair, beauty & aesthetics business?«
All of the tutors at Elite School of Beauty Therapy in Hertfordshire are experienced therapists who have worked in the industry and have gained a wealth of knowledge to advise you whilst you are on our hair, beauty and aesthetics courses.
How can I learn a treatment in a day when it's a 10 week course at my local college?«
At our Hertfordshire hair & beauty training school we teach in very small groups on an intensive basis. The majority of the day is practical work virtually on a one-one basis, coupled with on-hand assistance, should it be required. You’ll be amazed at what you can learn in a day!
What qualifications do your tutors have?«
All our tutors have recognised teaching qualifications and also we have 5 VTCT Assessors in our Hertfordshire hair & beauty training school.
Do the tutors in your Hertfordshire hair & beauty school have industry experience?«
Yes, within salons, mobile or home based. We have over fifty years of industry experience to share with the students and every tutor runs their own successful Hair or Beauty business alongside teaching your courses.
Do you offer hair & beauty training courses for men in Hertfordshire?«
Our Hertfordshire hair & beauty training courses are offered to men and women. These courses are usually run separately but, on occasions, we offer mixed classes. You will be advised if a member of the opposite sex has requested to attend a course, but due to the small number on the courses this rarely happens.
Is there an exam at the end of my hair, beauty or aesthetics course?«
This depends on which course you choose. There isn’t a formal exam on the Short Intensive Diploma courses as you are assessed as the day progresses. The VTCT qualifications are structured to include end of unit exams, written questions and practical assessments.
