Position: Hairdressing Educator
Location: Elite School of Beauty Therapy, Bishop’s Stortford, Hertfordshire
Hours: Every Sunday | 10:00am – 4:00pm
We are looking for a talented and passionate Hairdressing Educator to join our team. In this role, you will deliver high-quality training to students at various skill levels, from beginners to advanced practitioners, helping them develop both technical expertise and industry confidence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, professional hairdressing training sessions in line with NVQ, VRQ, VTCT, and accredited course standards.
- Provide one-to-one guidance and feedback to support learner progression.
- Maintain up to date knowledge of hairdressing techniques, products, and industry trends.
- Ensure a safe, inclusive, and inspiring learning environment.
- Assess and monitor student work, maintaining accurate training records.
Requirements:
- Recognised hairdressing qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
- Teaching qualification (e.g. PTLLS, AET) — or willingness to work towards one.
- Proven salon experience and technical expertise.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for education and commitment to student success.
